We're skipping the April SACCFUG meeting. Instead of trying to schedule a presentation, we're taking the time to reevaluate a few things about the group.

As you may know, the Sacramento CFUG group moved to a new location a few months ago. Since then, we've noticed a considerable drop in attendance, and we'd like some feedback from you as to why this might be happening, and how we can improve the group.

If you could please take a moment, reply to this email, and answer the following questions (or whichever of them you feel comfortable answering), we'd really appreciate it.  

1. Currently SACCFUG meetings take place in the Natomas area.  Does having our meetings in this area cause any transportation/traffic issues, that prevent you from attending?

2. If we moved SACCFUG to another location (for example, near 50/Zinfindel, or West Sacramento), would you be more or less likely to attend the meetings?  What is your ideal preference for the meeting location?

3. We've been thinking of expanding the group to more of a general "web and mobile development" group, focusing on more than just ColdFusion. If we were to include other topics such as PhoneGap, iPhone development, jQuery Mobile, Ruby, Clojure, etc, would you be more likely to attend?

4. Currently SACCFUG meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. If we were to meet on a Monday or Wednesday night, would that affect your ability to attend the meetings?  Is there a different week of the month that works better? For example, if 2nd Tuesdays are not good, what about the 3rd Tuesday of the month?

5. Do you have any other suggestions or feedback for us on how we could improve the group?
